Chelsea Lane is a WNC native from nearby Sylva and has been proudly rooted in Asheville since 2014. After spending 15 years both living and exploring outside this region, her heart led her back to this sweet city nestled in the mountains. “The sense of community here is unparalleled,” she shares, and it’s no surprise that she has chosen to make it her home base again.

With 10 years of experience, Chelsea captures moments and spaces in a way that brings you right back to that place and time. She began her career in the hospitality industry, which instilled in her the importance of thoughtful customer service. In 2014, she transitioned from working in hotels to pursuing her passion for photography as a freelancer.

As a homebody and introvert, Chelsea often finds herself in South Asheville, working from home, lounging on the porch, or playing with her dogs. She and her husband eloped in the late fall of 2013, and since then, they’ve wholeheartedly embraced life on their own terms.

Chelsea’s photography style is relaxed, understated, and charming, capturing real people and the moments that light up their hearts.
