Annie’s journey into photography began in high school. She was in the family portrait business for a couple of years before moving away from photography as a career.
At the age of 50, Annie started Artful Paws. She realised that life is too short not to do what you love. It was a way to combine her love of photography with her love of animals. When she decided to return to photography, she wanted to do something different from family portraits. There are many great family portrait photographers out there, but not many have a passion and great connection with animals.
“Every pet has a story, and our goal is to tell that story through beautiful, timeless images,” she shares. Her sessions are designed to be fun and stress-free, ensuring that both pets and their owners enjoy the experience. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a dignified senior pet, Annie knows how to capture those precious moments that pet owners cherish forever.
