Rebecca Denton is a skilled commercial and editorial food and brand photographer based in Nashville. With a deep passion for storytelling through images, Rebecca specialises in helping chefs, restaurants, bakers, and makers elevate their brands with soulful, authentic photography. Building on her years of experience as a photojournalist, Rebecca first focused on weddings and event photography. Through 10 years in that fast-paced environment, she learned how to photograph in every kind of light and to create beautiful images on a tight timeline. This is where her love of storytelling and her style of photography emphasizing movement and connection really developed, and she started teaching lighting workshops and had her work featured in publications including People and Nashville Lifestyles magazine.
Rebecca eventually transitioned to food and lifestyle photography, and she started photographing for restaurants, hotels, chefs, artisans, bakers, and other businesses. She loves helping people promote their businesses with soulful images that elevate their brands and showcase their personalities and products.
These days Rebecca works full time on staff as a commercial food photographer for Cracker Barrel, a national restaurant company, photographing food for its restaurant menus, posters, digital displays, social media, and website. She is also a freelance editorial food photographer for Farm Flavor Media, which focuses on sharing stories of farmers and agriculture. In addition, she is now an adjunct food photography instructor at Nossi College of Art and Design in Nashville and will be teaching a food photography class
